Early Childhood Development (ECD)
The Early Childhood Development work is focused upon deaf children, their Parents and Teachers, within the four geographical regions of Central, Eastern, South and West Nile.
Targeting Special Schools to implement the following projects:
- Teacher Training
- Development of Learning Materials
- Sign Language Training for Parents
- Sports and Drama
- Child Protection
- Welfare of Children
Inclusive Education
The Inclusive Education work is carried out within mainstream schools, with the objective of promoting Inclusive Education and transition for deaf children in four geographical regions of Uganda, Central, Eastern, South and West Nile.
Targeting the following projects:
- Rights Awareness for Teachers and Parents
- Hearing Assessments
- Drama and Talent development
- Orientation and Consultation with SMC
- Teachers’ awareness and communication training (TACT)
